And when great souls die,
after a period peace blooms,
slowly and always
irregularly.  Spaces fill
with a kind of
soothing electric vibration.
Our senses, restored, never
to be the same, whisper to us.
They existed.  They existed.
We can be.  Be and be
better.  For they existed.

Grief & Healing Circle for Gaza

Tickets: $33*

All Proceeds will be donated to Gaza Relief

Grief & Healing Circle/Space for Gaza This Event is organized and facilitated by Senses and Ewa Litauer (SFHypnotherapy) to come together in community with our individual and collective grief in solidarity with the Palestinian people. [And co-created by you!]

We invite you to join us in this safe and welcoming space, to meet in person, to share and listen; to breathe together and find support, connection, healing, and action. We’ll explore creative ways to move from bearing witness to genocide and suffering and into transforming our collective energy into strength and action. We’ll use breath, sound, gentle movement, and our _senses _and most of all offer a space for whatever is needed at the time of our gathering.

Let us inspire each other and emerge reconnected to our grounded selves, our strengths and our commitment to justice.

About Ewa Litauer (she/her, pronounced Eva) is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist** and **Reiki Master Teacher with a passion for holding deeply therapeutic spaces.   As a trauma-informed practitioner, and social justice advocate, I am passionate about supporting activists, immigrants, BIPOC, LGBTQI and other marginalized people on their healing journeys.

I am a Polish Jew who grew up in Germany, the child of holocaust survivors and an immigrant living in the US since 1989.

What to Expect? Ewa will create space and energy for you to work on energy together. Please expect to be united together in our efforts to grieve and take action for Gaza.

When Should I Come? Please come at 6:30! The event is happening after hours once our shop (Senses) has closed it's doors for the day! This event is private; so give us a knock when you come on in.

What do I need to bring? Just bring you! Come as you are. Dress in what makes you comfy and authentically you.

* Donation Based & A Sliding Scale This services is donation based and we suggest amounts of $33, $44, $55 all the way up to $111 and higher. However, we do understand everyones economic resources are different, and it's very important to us at Senses and to Ewa that we structure our fees to increase economic accessibility. If you can afford to pay $33, wonderful - if $22 is more comfortable, that's okay too. You may even suggest to pay for someone else's spot that may not have economic access. We will be donating proceeds to Gaza. Please chat with us when you get into the shop about your donation amount.

Complimentary Refreshments Complimentary refreshments will be available, enjoy some sage tea, cardamom coffee, or mint & cucumber infused water. The space features many small creators, and artistic collections throughout, take a browse, walk around, or pop in a chair to enjoy the sounds.

“Grief expressed out loud, … for someone we have lost, or a country or home we have lost, is in itself the greatest praise we could ever give them. Grief is praise, because it is the natural way love honors what it misses.”
